The family-run Hotel Zur Post is located in the centre of the town, just a 5-minute walk from Lake Ossiach and the inviting ski paradise of Gerlitzen. This modern yet traditional hotel is surrounded by the beautiful Carinthian landscape, lush green in summer and deep snow in winter.

The modern rooms have satellite TV and a bathroom. Some have a balcony.

Cuisine: Hotel Zur Post offers its guests a rich breakfast buffet. The restaurant serves Carinthian and international cuisine.

Surroundings: There are several ski resorts within a 30 km radius, including Gerlitzen with 40 km of ski slopes. A free ski bus is available. The Osoja adventure beach has a 100-metre slide, a beach volleyball court and a children's playground. Villach is 10 km away, and Klagenfurt is 20 km away.

The Gerlitzen ski resort is located above Lake Ossiach in the Austrian Carinthia and offers around 40 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, suitable for all types of skiers – from beginners to experienced winter sports enthusiasts. With an altitude of between 1,010 and 1,911 metres above sea level, it offers long and scenic descents, with panoramic views of the Alps and nearby lakes creating a special experience. The ski resort boasts modern cable cars, a reliable artificial snowmaking system and a well-maintained infrastructure, ensuring comfort, safety and quality skiing throughout the season.
