Location: Hotel Alpenhof is located on the border between Styria and Lower Austria, 4 km from the center of Semmering, at an altitude of 950 m. It is 100 km from Vienna. The city of Semmering is on the UNESCO list due to its exceptional beauty, tradition and an old railway.

Accommodation: The Hotel Alpenhof will offer you its pleasant atmosphere and views of the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. The hotel has 56 double rooms of various categories and 4 suites. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. The hotel also has an indoor pool measuring 12x6m, which is open all year round, and a sauna is available at an additional cost, every day from 12 noon to 10 pm. The hotel’s restaurant serves a rich breakfast and dinner, as well as wine from the hotel’s wine shop. There is also a bar with a billiards table.

Standard double room has 14m2, is located on the 3rd floor and has no balcony. Room equipment: double bed or twin beds, desk, wardrobe, safe, TV, bathroom and Wi-Fi.

Winter activities nearby: Only 5 minutes from the hotel, in Semmering, skiers will find as many as 14 pistes of various levels of difficulty and at sunset the longest illuminated slope in Europe! In addition to the ski slopes, there is also a bobsled track, which offers an experience for children and adults. There is also a children’s corner, a ski school and the possibility of renting skis. You can buy tickets in advance on the website: https://semmering.axess.shop/ The second ski area, the Stuhleck ski area, is a 10-minute drive from the hotel and is one of the TOP 10 ski resorts in Austria. There are 24 km of pistes of various levels of difficulty, night skiing, a toboggan run, snow tubes, a small ski slope specially designed for beginners and children, and cross-country ski trails. Summer activities: The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities: mountain biking in the Zauberberg  Bikepark, horseback riding in the woods, hiking, walking, climbing, playing tennis, or riding the famous railway to the Schneeberg mountain. For children with families, the Aquapark, Zoo or Puchis Welt Adventure Park on Mount Schneeberg is nearby. The famous alpine railway will take you to the Schneeberg mountain. For golf lovers, there is also a golf course with beautiful views at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and with a long tradition.
