Hotel Bistrica is located 1620 meters above sea level at the most beautiful lookout of the mountain between Jahorina’s peaks and vivid Praca River Valley, 12 kilometers from Pale, and 28 kilometers from Sarajevo. The hotel is connected with these two cities with newly constructed and reconstructed roads. It was built for the XIV Olympic Winter Games in 1984 and categorized with 3 stars.

 

There are 152 rooms in the hotel and 8 suits for a total of 320 primary and 80 additional beds. The structure of rooms varies (single, double, double with extra bed) and all rooms have private bathroom, TV, satellite TV, and direct dial phone. The facilities include: restaurant with national and international cuisine, bar, several different purpose halls with a capacity of 50 to 300 seats, and in the sports and recreation area there are indoor pool (16m x 8m), two classic saunas and gym, hall for table tennis and billiards, grass football pitch, playground for minor sports (basketball, handball, volleyball) and a lot of other facilities. The hotel is an ideal venue for meetings of various kinds, seminars, workshops, presentations, sports events, youth meetings, etc. 

 

During the winter hotel Bistrica is a perfect place to enjoy the mountains with affordable prices. With friendly staff, excellent gastronomic offers, complete and convenient hotel rooms, you will not be disturbed by the older ambience of the hotel, which for nearly 30 years meets various demands of guests. In addition to supporting the hotel facilities during the winter season, guests are offered: ski clothes and ski rental, such as ski school with license where for 5 days you can learn to ski on the slopes of Jahorina.   ENJOY!
