The Duna Wellness Hotel is the only hotel of Baja, situated in the heart of the town, yet it is quiet, calm and friendly. From the windows of the rooms guests can have an excellent sight of the river Sugovica, Petőfi island (Petőfi-sziget) or the Szentháromság square, which, being paved with granite cubes, is exceptional in Central Europe.

The four star ensuite double or twin rooms present modern elegance, are spacious and have excellent equipment (television, telephone, Wi-Fi, minibar, room safe, hair dryer).

In the wide selection of the a’la carte Pacsirta Restaurant (Pacsirta Étterem), which belongs to the hotel, you can find international and Hungarian courses as well. On the terrace (that can be transformed to fit winter conditions) of National Café (Nemzeti Kávéház), having the most beautiful view in town, you can enjoy delicious coffee or cookies.

The hotel offers several program opportunities for adults and children. In the cellar of the hotel, built in the age of the Turkish occupation, you can participate in wine tasting (against separate fee, at a time agreed on beforehand at the front desk), while the Gilice playing room provide carefree entertainment for children.

The Átrium Wellness is a perfect place for recreation, refreshing body and soul. You can always access the adventure pool, jacuzzi, Finnish and infra sauna, steam cabin, relaxing room and fitness room (during business hours). Besides the above (against separate fee) the hotel also offers massage treatments, cosmetics services, fish pedicure and hamam, Turkish bath séance.

Baja is 206 km away from the airport of Budapest (Liszt Ferenc Airport) on the bank of the river Danube, in a picturesque environment. The town is “the capital of fish soup”, famous by Baja fish soup. The town is known for Gemenc forest, Petőfi islan, Nagy-Pandúr island, Sugovica river (suitable for swimming). Baja offers many activities, such as: adventure park, swimming, fishing, ice skating, traditional sightseeing horse carriage riding, horse riding, wine tastings, paintball, bowling, squash, tennis, panoramic flights, water sports etc…
