The Komfort Hotel Platan is located in Harkany in a quiet setting. Harkany is a small town in the south of Hungary, well known for its healing baths.
In 1823, a local discovered that the area was abounding with water rich in sulfur. The medical benefits of the water are proved in the treatment of locomotor disorders, chronic gynecological inflammations, lymphatic malfunctions, and psoriasis.

The hotel is popular for its fine cuisine, serving Hungarian and international specialties such as pork stew, roast duck, stuffed cabbage, and crêpes Suzette. Buffet breakfast is served every morning.
