Thermal Lake Heviz

Visit the most popular thermal lake in Hungary Heviz, occupying an area of 4.4 ha with a colonnade, gardens, and other spa attractions. The lake is a national natural monument. The lake is the largest thermal lake in Europe, holding the spa tradition since 1795. The temperature around 30° C allows the year-round operation of the spa. The water, very rich in minerals, jets from a depth of 38 meters and changes every three days. A special attraction on the lake are water lilies with a beautiful red flower.

Other nearby attractions are the Baroque Festetics Palace in the town of Keszthely, and Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe.
