About the Sara Thermal SPA: 6 outdoor and 2 indoor pools, including thermal water, medicinal water, swimming and paddling pools, as well as a pool suitable for relaxation and games, await visitors here. Here, families who want to relax, couples who want to relax and even those who want to heal can find the wellness or medical pool that is most suitable for them. The Hegykő thermal water is a slightly hard, fluoridated, sulphurous medicinal water containing a lot of dissolved substances, with a sodium chloride alkali-hydrogen carbonate character, with a significant iodide content. It is brought to the surface from a depth of 1,434 meters at a temperature of 55 °C.
The thermal water is suitable for curing chronic locomotor diseases, based on the recommendation of a specialist. It can be used with good results as a rehabilitation course to treat healed bone fractures, sprains, joint sprains, and muscle strains. Regular use of the bath relieves the strain associated with sports and increased muscle work, the water vapor rising from the water surface and inhaled has a beneficial effect on respiratory complaints.
