Ambient Hotel & AromaSPA Sikonda, the renewed hotel in settlement Sikonda focuses on fragrances built on the unique micro-climate of Mecsek Valley. In addition to scenting the rooms and developing their interior design, the unique concept may be experienced in the wellness area and on the menu as well.

The hotel of Sikonda’s thermal spa opened under a new name and with a new concept in spring of 2014 after several months of restructuring, in accordance with the plans. The complex called ‘Ambient Hotel & AromaSpa Sikonda’ provides hotel and wellness services at higher level than before, notwithstanding major developments have taken place even in the infrastructure. Due to the awarded grant, the Hotel that was built about ten years ago on the thermal springs broken out in the valley of the Mecsek not only got a new star but the number of the rooms had been almost doubled due to the developments, so 77 rooms, suites and apartments have been waiting for the guests longing for a rest since spring. Taking the trends of tourism in Hungary into consideration, the public spaces and the wellness area have been rebuilt, and the capacity of the existing conference room has been enlarged and it is now able to be sectioned. In addition, outdoor rest areas have also been established.

The renewed Ambient Hotel & Aroma SPA Sikonda mainly focuses on fragrances based on the microclimatic conditions of the Mecsek valley. Some of hotel rooms are considered “fragrance” rooms, meaning that in the bathroom supplies and the interior design elements our guests may notice the motive of lavender, camomile, mint or almond. The rest of the rooms were refurnished to fragrance free so called “air” rooms, therefore our guests prioritising neutrality may also enjoy full relaxation.
