The Grand Hotel Terme della Fratta opened its doors in May 2007 following a 5 year programme of expert work to restore this historic health spa site.

Framed by the rolling hills of the Romagna countryside, the hotel is situated in 13 hectares of splendid parkland where history and nature have met in harmony and generated a rich culture of hospitality known and appreciated worldwide.

The nearby medieval town of Bertinoro is clearly visible, with its unmistakable profile dominated by an impressive castle and surrounded by magnificent and relaxing scenery.

The thermal baths of Fratta Terme are of a rare structure, able to offer you an incredible variety of spa waters. From the 11 springs in the park, 7 different waters rise, each with unique properties according to the type of deep sub-strata through which they flow-beneficial properties on which the whole range of therapeutic treatments here is based.

With such a high concentration of minerals and salts - identified as: saline, saline-bromic-iodic, sulphurous, sodium-sulphurous, ferruginous, magnesite, arsenical - these hypothermal waters are recognized as possessing important properties for the health and well-being of the body.
