The estate Poggitazzi is located in a dominant position in the Valdarno valley, near Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The owners of the antique ghibelline fortification were the Family Pazzi and after 1288 the Family Libri. The historic villa, only 30 minutes from Florence, located at the centre of the property is the ideal location for a romantic getaway. In the core of the estate is the ancient Villa with lounges, gardens and services for wedding-parties, meetings and workshops, a farm with cellar and oil mill with own high quality products, extra-virgin olive oil and Chianti Docg wines and 100 m from the Villa there is an agriturismo for guest accommodation. The core of the estate is composed of three main buildings connected inside through undergrounds, and outside through courtyards and hallways, which also delimitate the two gardens: one of them large and antique, restored with original materials, and the other one from the nineteenth-century. The Agritourism begins with the renovation of a large farmhouse and now it has bedrooms and apartments. All the accommodations have typical Tuscan furniture with a discreet yet welcoming atmosphere; they have the availability of large indoor and outdoor spaces, with gorgeous landscapes and a wonderful panorama view over the valley of the Arno river.

All around you will find vineyards, olive groves and woods. The stay in the farm house is absolutely relaxing, in the silence of the country side, but not isolated. The gardens, the lawns, the secular holm oaks wood provide wide spaces for walking and for your favorite sport activities as swimming in the pool, playing tennis, ping pong, but also are the starting point for tours and excursion.
