The next day you can visit the magnificent city of Sibiu, which received the title “European Capital of Culture” in 2007. The city was built by the Transylvanian fair old German settlers in the year 1191. The first name of the city was Hermannstadt, being founded on the old Roman fortress Cedonia. On the fifth day we’ll go back to Bucharest, crossing the sinuous Olt Valley. But we’ll also make a stop to visit another famous wallachian monastery named Curtea de Arges, unique in the world with its blend of architectural styles, from whose uniqueness was also born one of the most famous legends of the Romanians: The Legend of Master Builder Manole. After another night spent in Bucharest, you’ll prepare to go back home, flying from Otopeni Airport.
