Relax Hotel Sojka

The relaxation Hotel Sojka opened its doors in March 2004 and is located in the middle of the Liptov region, one of the most beautiful regions in Slovakia, hidden in the peace and quiet of the village of Malatíny. Their goal is to offer a combination of good quality, excellent service, accurate and useful information in a pleasant atmosphere. It is possible to spend a holiday in Slovakia all year round. Every season has its beauty, its atmosphere, a spring full of blossoms, a sunny and warm summer vacation, a colorful and fascinating autumn or winter fun on skis or with a sledge.

The hotel is built in typical Slovakian style and surrounded by a pleasant garden. It is a place where guests can really come to rest and feel right at home. The hotel offers 12 new superior rooms, a new wellness centre, indoor swimming pool with children's pool and a congress room.  In the reception area there is a small souvenir shop, internet corner and offices. Their aim is to continue improving their services without losing the unique atmosphere.

The hotel’s restaurant area consists of the restaurant, the bar and the winter garden, all built in a local folk style with a cosy wooden, integrated fireplace. The restaurant offers good food with traditional Slovakian dishes and a wide range of local and Belgian beers, spirits and fine Slovakian wines. The hotel has also a wellness centre with whirlpool, steam sauna, herbal sauna, massage shower and a lot more.

For those who want to explore the Liptov region, there are many options.  You can visit the wooden articular church in the village of Svätý Kríž, the museum of a Liptov village in Pribylina, the UNESCO protected mountain village of Vlkolínec, the Celtic archeological open air museum in Havránok, or the small towns of Liptovský Mikuláš and Ružomberok. Moreover, the central location of the Liptov region in the country makes it an ideal starting point to visit the surrounding regions. Each has its own specific architecture, impressive castles, interesting museums, historical cities and folklore habits.
