The newly built Hotel Wada is located in the peaceful Rimski Vrelec complex in the Carinthian village of Kotlje, approximately 5 km from Ravne na Koroškem. Kotlje lies beneath Mount Uršlja gora and is surrounded by forests and numerous hiking and cycling trails. The iron-rich mineral water spring Hotuljska Slatina rises directly next to the hotel. The hotel offers modern accommodation, an intimate wellness area, and a pleasant setting for a relaxing or active holiday. Due to a smaller number of rooms, the use of natural materials, and its connection with the surrounding landscape, it creates a cozy, homely, and tranquil atmosphere. Hotel Wada offers a total of 21 modernly furnished rooms and suites that can accommodate up to 45 guests. The interior is dominated by natural materials, wood, and pleasant earthy tones.

Wellness: The intimate wellness center at Hotel Wada is designed for a relaxing break after excursions or sports activities. Wellness services must be booked in advance at the reception desk. Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas will ensure the warming of joints, skin cleansing, and holistic relaxation before or after an active period. Three peaceful themed relaxation rooms will transport you into a new, unseen world where your mind can play with admiring subtle nature, charming tenderness, and refined freshness. To top it all off, you can immerse yourself in the bubbling water of the whirlpool pool, feeding your sensory mood from the front row with views of Mount Uršlja gora, the majesty of the nearby forest, and the soft grassy slopes of the Carinthian plains. Massage masterpieces (available for a surcharge) for relaxation, regeneration, or simply a gift to yourself. Living in harmony with nature, we use its gifts – honey, stones, salt, and oils – helping the body achieve the most effective relief possible. Dry floating (available for a surcharge) is a premium wellbeing ritual designed for deep relaxation and holistic regeneration of body and mind. The feeling of weightlessness, pleasant warmth, and absolute silence work in a strongly anti-stress way, reducing tension and restoring internal balance. It is a refined premium wellness experience intended for anyone seeking a conscious retreat, renewed energy, and luxurious time for themselves. The wellness area is not an extensive thermal complex, but rather a quiet and intimate space dedicated to regeneration and undisturbed rest.

Gastronomy: The hotel's cuisine is based on fresh, local ingredients from Slovenian Carinthia. Guests can sample local specialties, homemade products, and seasonal dishes inspired by the surrounding landscape. Breakfasts are prepared using carefully selected local ingredients. The complex also features the Rimski Vrelec Café, offering various types of coffee, homemade herbal teas, light snacks, desserts, homemade lemonades, Slovenian wines, craft beers, as well as products from local farmers and other suppliers.

Sports and Active Holidays: Padel, tennis, and volleyball courts are available directly within the hotel complex. The hotel also provides electric bike rentals. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, gravel biking, and leisurely excursions, with exploration made easy via the komoot application, which offers more than 22 different routes starting right in front of the hotel. From the hotel, you can set off on walks beneath Mount Uršlja gora, to Lake Ivarčko, or on more demanding hiking tours to Uršlja gora, Peca, Raduha, and Olševa. Among the most interesting excursion points in the region are Underground Peca, where you can explore former mines by bike or during an underground boat ride, the Štrekna cycling trail, the Old Ironworks in Ravne, the historic town center of Slovenj Gradec, the Prežihova Bajta Museum, and traditional rafting on the Drava River.

Hotuljska Slatina Spring: A unique part of the Rimski Vrelec complex is the natural Hotuljska Slatina mineral spring. It is drinkable mineral water with a naturally high iron content, also locally known as acid water. The water is freely accessible to visitors at the spring within the hotel complex.
