Hotel Korkyra

Korkyra Hotel on the island of Korčula off the coast of the southern Dalmatia is the perfect place to enjoy Croatia at its finest. It has been the most important hotel in town for many years and combines pleasant lifestyle with individual service. 

The hotel and its impressive facade have been fully renovated. It now has 58 design rooms, a wellness area and a restaurant for 180 people, and an adjoining bar.

At the heart of the hotel is a swimming pool, a verdant oasis in the inner courtyard overlooking the sea. The hotel is open year-round and is located in Vela Luka, the second largest town on the island, with 4,500 inhabitants, in a central but quiet area near the harbour. Vela Luka itself is located in a sheltered bay. This is where handcraft and art are a part of everyday life.

With a culture going back over a thousand years, and hundreds of years old villages and cities amidst lovely vegetation dotted with olive trees and cypresses, Korčula also features a variety of bays and beaches along its 180 kilometres of coastline. The island is known for its handcrafts and agriculture – numerous vineyards and olive groves attest to this tradition. On the far west raises Vela Luka, the island’s largest bay with its own harbour, sheltered by green hills. With over 2,600 hours of sunshine a year, Vela Luka is the sunniest place in the entire Adriatic region.
