Picoks Hotel is located in Djurdjevac on the Drava plain, between two natural geographical landscapes - Bilogora North slope and Drava river.
The hotel has an interesting name from the Picoks legend, an event from the 16th century, when was seen Đurđevčan’s ingenuity and courage in the fight against the Turkish conquerors Ulam-brain when they fired stopcock ˝picok˝ from a cannon. This event is stil alive and it has been staged for 40 years now as part of the event Picokijada''. Đurđevčan residents have been called ''Picok'' for centures.

The Đurđevac area boasts cultural attractions and wildlife, such as ˝Đurđevac Sands˝ nature reserve, also called the ˝Croatian Sahara˝. The hotel is also located very near to the Drava river.
