Hotel Írottkő is a comfortable three-star hotel situated directly on the main square of the old town of Kőszeg, right in front of historical streets and surrounding mountains. The hotel has about 52 renovated rooms, some with panoramic views, connecting rooms, triple rooms, standard and design double rooms. It’s an excellent choice for travellers seeking both historical ambiance and modern comfort.
Standard double rooms (sized 18 m2) are located on both floors of the hotel, offering a nice view to the historic main square or to the market street. Most of the double rooms may be equipped by an extra bed. Rooms have a double or twin bed, bathroom with shower of bath tub, satellite TV and a mini bar.
Wellness: There is a friendly wellness centre, including a sauna area. Guests have free access to wellness services (excluding massages unless the package includes them). Towels and sauna towels are provided free of charge; bathrobes are available for a small rental fee.
Restaurants & Bars: The hotel has one main restaurant, Írottkő Restaurant, serving traditional Hungarian cuisine every day. There is also a lobby bar and terrace seating. Half-board lunch is served in evenings; a la carte service is available during the summer (11:00-22:00) and somewhat shorter hours in winter.
