Bagno di Romagna is located in the Apennines, about 50 km south of Cesena and 77 north of Arezzo. Part of its territory is included in the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna, inside which there is the Integral Nature Reserve of Sasso Fratino.
