Hotel Mair is located in the tourist region of the Tures and Aurina Valley in South Tyrol. Surrounded by meadows and alpine glaciers, it is an ideal base for a relaxing and active holiday.

The owner and chef Matthias Mairhofer offers true culinary delights with its South Tyrolean specialties and classic Italian dishes. Schlutzkrapfen (noodles filled with spinach and cheese), aromatic bacon on healthy rye bread, juicy beef, fresh herbs, and apple strudel are a delight for any gourmet. In addition to the dining area, Hotel Mair also offers a house bar, a lounge for guests with a TV area and an outdoor terrace with a children's playground.

Beside Speikboden in Campo Tures and Klausberg in Cadipietra, guests of the Mair Hotel in Caminati have access to two modern and family-friendly ski areas close by. Speikboden (about 5 km away) offers approx. 40 kilometers of well-prepared trails as well as a 700 m long snowboarding amusement park. Klausberg (about 15 km away) offers 30 kilometers of slopes, an exciting Snowboard-Fun-Park and a beautifully designed "Klausi-Land" for children. Kronplatz, the number one ski resort in South Tyrol, is only 17 kilometers away. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the extensive net of ski runs in the nearby villages of Riva di Tures, Selva dei Molini and Rio Bianco, as well as the 10 km long trails in Casera. When there is a lot of snow during the winter, the guests can also ride their sleigh down the slope just outside the hotel. There are also slides for sledding into the valley from the surrounding hills.
