Hotel Taufers is situated on the quiet slope on the sunny part of the Zillertar Alps. You will immediately fall in love with the house, from every point of view. More than 80 mountain peaks 3000 meters above the sea level, 50 cottages, wonderful pastures and romantic mountains are waiting for you to discover. You can enjoy magnificent mountain walks with local mountaineers, cycling paths, natural outer swimming pool, rafting, canyoning and a lot more.
Here winters starts early, so most of the chair lifts open at the beginning of December. Besides, winter adventure starts in front of the hotel entrance. Winter walks to the frozen cascade waterfalls, skiing, ninepins on ice, ice skating, moonlight sledding and sledding trips with horse teams are just some of the activities, which you really have to try. The nearest ski slope is the wonderful Speikboden. Guests can take a ski bus to and from the ski slopes. After a hard day of skiing or mountain-climbing our guests can relax in a Finnish or Turkish sauna, massage bath and solarium.
You can visit the Cascade water resort. The name Cascade stands for activities, recreation, relaxation and culinary delights. Not only water and sauna lovers, but also everyone, who likes culinary delights will enjoy the Kaskade water resort.
