Sunčana reka is a sports-recreational complex, built in an etno-style on the shore of the river Drina, between the hills of Gučevo and Majevica. In Sunčana reka, nothing is ordinary - the landscape, excellent food and the beautiful trips you can take. Because of these reasons, the famous film director Zdravko Sotra chose Sunčana reka for the filming of the "Unbeatable heart" and "Her mother's sin" series.
Sunčana reka presents a unique oasis for rest, sport and recreation, which is most important for those who life a fast paced life and everyday obligations and are therefor exposed to stress and have no time for themselves or their family.
Houses in the complex are split in two smaller settlements, each of which has its own name. In the Robert De Niro settlement you will find the houses Mari-Mari, Kristina, Caca, Stana, Sunčica, Plavuša, Dragana, Vesna and Goca Džin. In the Studenec settlement you will find the houses Danijela, Goca Lolita, Ivana, Ceca, Purićka, Goca kuharica, kod Serifa (at Serif), Mika, Rajko and Mile Mraz. You will also find a football pitch, a beach volleyball court, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, table tennis tables, trekking lanes (5000m) and an amusement park for children in the complex.
