As the name says (kaštel means castle), Kaštel Banaterra is a manor of a German general built during World War II and it is part of the most recent generation of manors in the Vojvodina Region. The manor is built with German precision and ambitiousness of the local constructors thanks to Russian architecture. It offers unforgettable holiday and pleasure in the heart of the beautiful Banat Basin; try the delicious home-made culinary delights.
A prefect fusion of tradition and modernity was made with regard to the needs of contemporary life in an authentic atmosphere inspired by its aristocratic past. The manor is modern and completely renovated, but it still has all its charm and aristocratic spirit, which was later abandoned.
Chefs with international knowledge prepare culinary delights made from high-quality ingredients. The choice of food in Kaštel Banaterra is rich and diverse, chefs are very proud of the venison and freshwater dishes, different salads and tasty cheeses. You can complete culinary pleasure with sadjevec (fruit brandy), quality red or white wine.
