Hotel Stureplan is a small, intimate hotel located in an elegant 19th century building in the heart of Stockholm. The name of the Restaurant Ostra is an old Swedish word for oysters and even today it is used as the singular of Oysters. It also means oysters in Spanish & Portuguese. For them, the namereflects the love for seafood. The dining Room and Bar focuses on classic seafood dishes prepared with good, honest and fine ingredients with a Swedish touch. Ostras head chef, Johan Holmberg has received many awards for his culinary art and has prepared meals for kings, presidents and other celebrities. He also used to be former US-president George W Bush’s private chef.
